Although it has been awhile since last I blogged, it has always remained my intention to get back to it one happy day. Or rather on an unhappy day if you’ve ever read any of my ramblings.
Apart from being free, and having (at least to me, personally) an interesting name there does exist a reason for my leaving the ‘Blogspot’ home which is that I do not wish to have a Google account. If I wanted one I would have gone out and got one, but I don’t – Google may be a very good search engine but I am uneasy having an account with it – one step nearer the beast as it were…
And so to ‘WordPress’ which is a curious mix of ideas there for me, for I am as close as a christian anarchist as you can probably find. So ‘Word’ as in the Son of God and ‘Press’ as in the main and most singular tool in the anarchists’ toolbox. It is just one way to see the name…
I’ll probably get around to importing my old archives – the good ones and the not so good ones and even one day I may even get around to filling in my profile, but for now I think I’d just like to say that if we are not free to think then how can we really believe, so I’ll sign off
